Power Outage

We had no power for a most of the day so I worked on a card for a new challenge . It's the first one for http://www.winkwinkink.com. You can use their free digital stamp image to enter the contest which ends April 26th. Check out their site for more information and some ideas . No photo yet... my camera must have felt sympathetic to the power outage and needed recharging so the photo will be up tomorrow.

Hedgie

I have the cutest Penny Black Hedgehog. She is all set to go on an adventure. She colors up so fast and I really think she is sweet! I used another of those paint chip flowers propped up on foam dots so everything is "from my stash".

Use it

For this card I used what I had. Free paint chips from Lowe's were cut with the Cuttlebug Flower die set , then glued with a contrasting center. The Anya image was colored with Zig markers, then edged with a CM corner rounder. The background DP was from a swap(unknown) and the dotted Swiss sheer ribbon was from Michaels. She is off in the morning mail to be used as a birthday card.

Anya Time

I have to make a birthday card for a little one who is turning 3. She really likes princesses and fairy tales. The card came together quickly and some Stickles applied to dolled it up. I made a gateway card, with Anya Princess, and die cut her name and age. The glitter isn't showing up well on the photo . The sheer ribbon made the card look a bit more dressy. Happy Birthday to Zoey!

All Dolled up

I finally found a saying to go with this grownup Tilda. It is a sweet little Imaginations stamp and with this vintage looking DP (unknown) worked out just fine. I made a little stool from green scrap paper, embossed and distressed it to make it look old. Some sheer ribbon was tied in a bow and my favorite Stickles dotted the "diamond" and on her earrings.She was colored with good old Zig markers which also edged the saying before being cut with paper edgers. Here's to another card done to add to my emergency collection. Hope your day had as great weather as we had here in Michigan.

Baby Blessings

We have a new baby soon to be baptized in our extended family and although I can't be there in person on the other side of the US, my card will be representing us in spirit.The inside says "Babies are a gift from God".
Have a wonderful Easter time with family or special people in your life if that is something you celebrate.
