Be Happy

This little "Mom" looks like she is ready for a busy day(Kraftin Kimmie's Charlotte). I thought this would work nicely along with the HA- Be Happy. I have a friend who is a super busy Mom herself and I thought this would give her a chuckle. The image was edged with Zig Markers and the DP is from Me and My Big Ideas Milan pack. Just a bit of sheer ribbon and she is ready to be popped into the mail tomorrow.

So much fun...

finding a surprise in my stash. I went to the stamping convention in our area last year and got a bonus in my bag when I bought an inkpad in one of the booths. I just shoved it into my box of unmounted. When I was looking through them over the weekend, I noticed this cute saying. I have no idea where it came from but it is perfect for one of my last minute Easter cards.Just some scraps, ribbon, cardstock , some Zig markers for coloring the Spring Bunny from Lili of the Valley stamps and it's done.

Use what you have...

I have been working on some more Tildas. Here she is. It's Tilda with the Lamb. I have been reading on various blogs to use what you have, drag out those favorite tools and basically... make do with less. Nana's Kids paper is the background DP. I got that at the last swap. The swirly design is from a CB folder D'vine Swirls. The pale yellow flower is from my stash, along with the purple flower brad.Just some zig markers, a corner rounder and that is all. Another CAS card ready to go.

There is no greatness without taking risks...

Now and again each of us has to take a chance on something new or different. This Spring Bunny from LoV, really appealed to me and combined with a great verse from CDS showed that he was willing to try. I also tried to make one of Janna's (jannawilson@cox.net.com for the directions) cute flowers to enhance the card along with a touch of some vintage yellow trim.

I made her as a thinking of you card and cut the image with a Nestie. They are so great to have on hand as a just because surprise for a friend.I use a heart punch to create the white on white heart border.

Still another

Tilda that is... This one is writing a letter. I thought this card would look good with one of Gini's crochet flowers, in tones of green. It's so springlike . She is sitting on a little cushion and writing in her journal. The polka dot paper is from Nana's Kids, with the card stock Bazzill White and a scrap of spring green(unknown). The brads are from MM. A band of sheer ribbon pulls it together. She was colored with Zig Markers.
